Get Crafty

There has been a recent renaissance in the craft movement that seems to be based around DIWYM (Do It With Your Mates) rather than DIY. Whether knitting, jewellery-making or drawing the social aspect of ‘doing’ and ‘making’ has seen groups pop-up all over.

Beer Festival at The Victoria

Today sees the launch of a Beer Festival at one of our favourite watering holes. The Victoria will be hosting 15 cask ales to compliment their lovely homecooked food from today 8th April until Saturday 10th April.

Last year’s event went down a storm so the venue have re-introduced it again for, what we hope, will be a regular occurence.
