Ikon – Those were the decades… starts this weekend

Residents of June Street, Salford, 1973.This year marks Ikon’s 50th and to celebrate the milestone they are presenting a series of events focusing on the five decades of the gallery’s history and the social, political and cultural context. This weekend sees the focus of the 60’s and the rise of counterculture.

Birmingham Opera Company Needs You!

Got a sense of adventure? Want to try something out of the ordinary? Then why not join Birmingham Opera Company and help them to create and perform a one-of-a-kind production of Khovanskygate: A National Enquiry. Individuals and Groups are all welcome, no previous performing experience needed.
