Art in the Heart

This year, for the first time, 23 of the region’s best galleries and attractions come together to highlight the wealth of art on our doorstep. There’s no over arching theme, simply some of the biggest names in contemporary and classical art exhibiting in the West Midlands. See everything from masters Rembrandt and Goya at the Barber Institute of Fine Art, Birmingham to key works by Damien Hirst at The New Art Gallery, Walsall, there’s something to appeal to everyone.

The Life of the Mind: Love, Sorrow and Obsession

An exhibition at The New Art Gallery Walsall, curated by Bob and Roberta Smith and inspired by a bronze sculpture of Sir Jacob Epstein’s 15-year-old daughter Esther, delves into the psyches of an eclectic group of historic, modern and contemporary artists.
