BIRMINGHAM WEEKENDER – Volunteers wanted

Between 25 – 27 September 2015, the city centre will come alive for an extraordinary weekend of high quality outdoor arts called Birmingham Weekender. Including independent street food traders, plenty of city fashion and style events and also the Rugby World Cup games at Villa Park, there’s never been so much going on in Birmingham!

Building on the success of 4 Squares Weekender and produced and coordinated by the same team, nearly all events will be free including our own Mucho Brumcha: Day of the Dead fiesta – a great day out for families and friends! Continue reading

Heart and Soul at The Irish Centre, Digbeth – 20 June

Fans of soul take note: June will see the ever-popular Heart & Soul return to Digbeth’s Irish Centre for an all-out summer special.

After losing his son Ethan, aged three, following a corrective operation for TGA (transposition of the great arteries) in 2009, South Birmingham Scooter Club’s Andrew Marshall set up the event in the hope of making money for UK based charity, Heart Research UK. Continue reading

Calling All Music Producers


The Midlands-based independent record company Speech Fewapy Records are teaming up with electronic two-piece Waler to offer budding and established music producers, the unique opportunity to remix the Waler track ‘No Excuses’.
