Be in with a chance to attend the culinary event of the season! The BBC Good Food Show Summer will take place from 11 -14 June at the NEC in Birmingham.

You’ll get to see great cooking demonstrations from top chefs such as Mary Berry, James Martin, Tom Kerridge and John Torode in the Supertheatre and get inspired. Learn something new at the Summer Kitchen Stage, with extra sessions from cooking experts and explore the art of baking. You can also discover new flavours whilst tasting dishes from the BBC Good Food Magazine.

Simpsons & Purity dinner event – 28/11/12

Five specially-created gourmet dishes are being created by Andreas Antona, Head Chef and owner of the Michelin-starred restaurant Simpsons, to match the flavours and aromas of Purity’s award-winning beers and specialist imports.

Every country has its national cuisines, every city a speciality. However much Britain prides itself on its fry up breakfasts and Sunday roast dinners, times are a-changin’ and the curry has upped and settled in the stomach of every Birmingham local on a Friday night. Yes, we have stolen the national cuisine of India and now the city council of Birmingham are having the cheek to say no one else in Britain is allowed it. Well, not all of the curry menu, just the balti dish-so called after the flat bottomed wok it was first cooked in.
