Simmer Down reggae performances to CBSO Ensembles; outdoor aerial performances from Wired Aerial Theatre set against a night sky backdrop; a chance to run away with the incredible Nofit State Circus, and a diverse range of dance workshops and pop up surprises throughout the weekend.  This is just a few things to expect at this weekend’s 4 Squares Weekender in Birmingham city centre.

The John Lennon Songbook

On Friday 4th March, The CBSO at Symphony Hall, will be paying tribute to the man, the musician, the icon John Lennon. The CBSO – style tribute is being described as a night of psychedelic orchestral splendour, as the evening entitled The John Lennon Songbook recounts Lennon’s journey as a musician from his beginnings during the swinging 60s and Beatle-mania, through to the dizzying heights of his solo career with the CBSO performing unique covers from his definitive LP Imagine.
