Selfridges launches a Festival of Imagination

Inspirational talks by world-renowned artists to a film programme Selfridges launches its in-store line-up of interactive lectures, debates and workshops titled the “Festival of Imagination“. THE SATURDAYS’ MOLLIE KING TO HOST BULLRING’S THE SHOW: TEN – WIN SEATS

Music star and fashionista Mollie King has been announced as the host of Bullring’s AW13 catwalk show, The Show: Ten this September. Mollie will host The Show: Ten on Saturday 28th September, during the Style Birmingham Live event, at the city’s ultimate shopping destination. Fans of Mollie will be able to see her live on-stage at 11am, 1pm, 3pm, 5pm and 7pm on Saturday as she introduces some of the season’s most coveted trends, which will be showcased on the catwalk during the free fashion show.

A winter Woolly for Bully

Knitting-graffiti artists Stitches & Hos have been the brains behind a variety of different woollen creations in Birmingham over the last year or so. From a scarf around the ‘Floozie in the Jacuzzi‘, to rasta hats on post boxes, the team of unconventional street artists have experimented with a wide range of the urban landscape, brightening up the public’s view with their needles, as a replacement to the spray can.

Bullring & We Are Birmingham Project

We Are Birmingham Shop and Gallery Space has teamed up with the Bullring to deliver an exciting new art project, which will see four Midlands-based artists work exhibited at the UK’s most visited Shopping centre. You may have seen the Saint Martin’s Square area just outside the Bullring is going under a bit of a transformation, as part of the city’s new Spiceal Street Development. All building works are a bit of an eye-saw and in order to alleviate this the Bullring and We are Birmingham Shop have come up with an inspired art exhibition.
