Simmer Down reggae performances to CBSO Ensembles; outdoor aerial performances from Wired Aerial Theatre set against a night sky backdrop; a chance to run away with the incredible Nofit State Circus, and a diverse range of dance workshops and pop up surprises throughout the weekend. This is just a few things to expect at this weekend’s 4 Squares Weekender in Birmingham city centre.
As the name suggests, the event takes place across 4 squares – Oozells, Centenary, Chamberlain and Victoria, and there will be no shortage of activities for all ages.
The event coincides with the opening of the new Library of Birmingham, now officially Europe’s largest library, and the weekend promises to be a spectacular celebration of the city. So whether you’re a brummie resident or just passing through the city, be sure to check it out. And don’t forget, if you need a hand finding your way, volunteers shall be on hand throughout the entire event.
As The World Tipped performances 6 and 7th 9pm onwards.
