Festive pop-up shop Number 22 will showcase the first jewellery and giftware collections of 12 up-and-coming designer makers from the Design Space. Specialising in handmade, beautifully-finished, limited-edition pieces the shop is part of a unique scheme managed by Birmingham City Council that provides business support and workshop space to emerging jewellers.
Pieces available to buy range from glimmering gemstones cushioned in gold and silver to colourful, quirky pieces made from unorthodox materials like Amanda Trimmer’s ‘Secret Superhero’ collection pictured above.
The shop is staffed by the designers themselves, who are on hand to share insight into the jewels, discuss bespoke commissions and help ensure the gift buying experience is as enjoyable as possible, even providing a luxury gift-wrapping service.
