The NOW WE ARE WEEKENDER is the latest event in the UK to celebrate all that is brilliant in indie-pop n’ roll thrills, spills and bellyaches! Organised by those people at Funny Looking Cat (who’ve had past fingers in such pies as Indietracks and The Little Hellfire Club) this debut mini-festival will be a fast-paced musical mash-up for all the family.
Set across the Easter Bank Holiday weekend beginning at 1pm each day two stages will present everything from twee indie pop to rock n’roll mayhem across two stages. Extra special headliners Art Brut, Misty’s Big Adventure and The Lovely Eggs will be joined by the best bands from across the West Midlands and the UK for the same cost as going to see two bands in your local venue, with drinks for those who enjoy a tipple and stands and workshops to suit all family members.
Late night DJs from the best the UK indie club circuit can provide will cater for those determined to burn the midnight oil while the extremely useful bank holiday weekend will mean there’s no unpleasant back to work exhaustion on Monday.
Are we having fun yet? Now we are…
