Get yourself down to your local Diesel store or click here because forthcoming Diesel Island looks like it’s gonna be big big news. Launched at the beginning of May, the Diesel School of Island Life will offer lucky ‘passport’ holders the chance to get involved with some amazing things, including events, parties, workshops and trips, and the best part is that they’re all completely free. Actually that’s not even the best part; there’s much more to come.
Sit in on a lesson with Howard Marks, head to the English Riviera to star in the latest Metronomy video, take part in debates and interactive discussion, or see live bands and DJs like Errors and SBTRKT.
The events all differ slightly, so have a look online and see what’s available in your city. These are the projects hitting Birmingham:
Diesel Island Cinema, “Post Apocalyptic Walk-in Movie”, Curated by Flatpack Festival – Thursday 12th May, The Edge, Cheapside, Digbeth
Diesel Island Disco: – Joker & Mc Scarz, Totally Enormous Extinct Dinosaurs, Mumdance, Moschino Hoe Versace Hottie, Tantrums DJs, Chicks Dig Jerks – The Old Church at The Custard Factory, Digbeth, Friday 20th May
“There City”: Interactive City Sculpture & Filmmaking with Them Lot – Thursday 26th May, Custard Factory
A conversation with Mr Hudson, live and in person – 27th May, Custard Factory
Sounds good right? Pick up your passport from your local store, or order one from the brand’s Facebook page. This passport is the only way you’ll be able to get involved, so get moving or they’ll all be gone! By attending the events and making brave Diesel purchases, you’ll be rewarded with a Diesel Island visa, which will let you take advantage of exclusive perks, to be revealed throughout the campaign.
