Bespectacled gent Simon Munnery has the wit of a weasel and the cunning of a fox. He appears in many guises with a variety of exciting facial hair and always a suit. His dialogue is expeditious, you are drawn into it like a whirlwind and left both stunned and in awe of his articulate style.
Area were lucky enough to see Munnery supporting Stewart Lee last year and even Lee describes him as “ The Peter Cook of his generation” – a deserved description we feel – we are very excited to see him here in Birmingham again.
Fast paced, intelligent and almost poetic in his delivery, Simon Munnery: Self Employed is surely one of the best shows that mac has to offer this Spring.
Expect musical interludes, kooky characters and cutting one liners.
