Friday 12 November
SBC Digbeth Campus
South Birmingham College will be hosting an exciting charity fashion show, which will exhibit clothes specially created by students.Students have scoured charity shops in Birmingham to find clothing that they have reworked and added their own style to. Around 80 outfits will be on display at the event, and all pieces will be for sale. There will also be an auction for some of the more outstanding creations. To add even more glamour to the event, the show will include a catwalk of vintage designer clothing that has been kindly donated to the college.
This event is a fantastic opportunity to support exciting new talent, and to help raise money for a local charity which is fighting to combat poverty in the city. The show will prove that style can be salvaged from discarded clothing, and hopefully encourage people to use charity shops more often.
