Created In Birmingham Shop

If you are looking for a little creativity, a place to browse through the talents of the home-grown or to purchase yourself a little something nice then blog Created in Birmingham‘s new store is going to be the place for you.  Having been given a decent sized unit inside the mighty Bullring the space will become part art market, part gallery and part event space making it, not just a shop but, also a place to hang out and collate all local talent together.

Acting as a platform for any talent ranging from photography to live music, reading to poetry, this is a great concept to promote Birmingham’s creatives.

The shop won’t defer too far from what the blog already promotes and so readers of the site may recognise names of confirmed artists taking part such as: Chris Keenan, Kate Beatty, Matt Murtagh, Sarah Ray, Luke Halliley, ORB Creative, Substrakt, Pete Ashton (picture above), 383 Project and Winnie O’Brien, who are all looking to provide things for the shop.

The doors for Created in Birmingham open on Thursday 25th February at 5pm and the store will be open for a minimum of 6 weeks to showcase the best stuff from the region.

Check out the blog at www.createdinbirmingham.com for more info and updates on events and artists taking part and selling their work.
